2003 Project for First Quarter - York County S.P.C.A.

Karen Siddall, the chair of the project, solicited donations from the York Jaycees throughout the quarter to donate to the shelter. On Sunday, March 16, six York Jaycee members with their friends and/or family members volunteered time to walk and feed the dogs, clean the kennels, rake and bag leaves, trim hedges, do office work and clean inside.

The York County SPCA is a non-profit, independent organization dedicated to the protection of animals. It is not a government agency funded by tax dollars but funded primarily by private donations. The York County SPCA cares for over 4,000 stray, lost and unwanted animals each year. The animals rely on them. They rely on you. Please remember to spay and neuter your pets!
