2005 Oyster Festival

The York County Heritage Trust Oyster Festival was held this year at the Gates House & Plough Tavern at 157 West Market Street in downtown York. It was a beautiful October day. The York Jaycees help them staff their event every October by volunteering to serve raw oysters, oyster sandwiches, oyster stew and steamed shrimp.
