Together a Team Works Wonders in 2005

In 2005, President Lisa Benson lead us with her "Together a Team Works Wonders " theme.

Our theme for 2005 is “Together A Team Works Wonders!” I think about of the things we do in our day to day lives and wonder how I would ever get through without having a team to rely on. Whether it be in my personal life with my family standing beside me, my work life with all of my coworkers (my 2nd family) to help me through and my Jaycee life where I have all of my friends that help make a difference in so many ways. To know that we are all in this organization for the purposes as stated in our creed, shows that we truly have a purpose and meaning to human life. We do care about our community and want to work to make it a better place! All the while, we are learning leadership skills that are hopefully helping to make us better people! What more could we ask for? New friends, community service, social contacts, networking, leadership skills and many other people out there just like you, wanting the same thing! That’s why together we will work wonders. For our community, for our team, for our families and most importantly for ourselves!

We have a challenging year ahead with new or revamped projects, new people and a common goal – to make a difference! We can do this but only if we work together. I have every faith that this will be a remarkable year filled with many triumphs!
