The 2006 Theme is Make a Difference!

Our theme for this year is "Make a Difference." I find the theme “Make a Difference” to be an appropriate one for the upcoming year. You see, this chapter has the potential to make a huge difference in many lives, one of which just might be your own. But in order to truly make a difference, you first have to participate. That’s right, PARTICIPATE. There are many areas and projects planned which will allow you to grow personally and professionally.

Whether you choose to get involved with our new Veterans dinner, roll the dice in our Monte Carlo event or serve hot baked potatoes to the York community, you make the difference. None of our projects can or will be successful without you.

I am so convinced that our leadership has planned a fun and fulfilling year that I am extending this challenge to each of our members: Our Chapter goal for 2006 is for each member to attend at least one event under each area: Management, Community, Membership and Chapter.

I hope you share my excitement and enthusiasm as we embark on the thrilling coaster ride of "Participation" in 2006. But the one thing about this ride is; it doesn't move without you. The more members we have on board, the more exhilarating and faster the ride is for all. The elected leaders have dedicated themselves to "Make a Difference" this year for both the Chapter and the Community. WILL YOU?
