| The following are links to documents that are used in the York Jaycees
Chapter by members to assist them with projects and Jaycee programs.
Year of Planned action (YOPA) - this
document is an outline of the projects the York Jaycees intends to do throughout the year
as well as the budget of intended incomes from said projects and administration costs that
are anticipated to incur.
Chairman's Planning Guide (CPG)
- this
guide is intended to help project chair people plan and conduct a project. Good advanced
planning and record-keeping will assure success. Every CPG is presented to the Board of
Directors for approval.
Expense
Reimbursement Form - this spreadsheet is submitted to the treasurer in order to
receive reimbursement for project expenses. Each expense must tie to a line item in the
YOPA, and the corresponding vice president or chapter president must approve the
expense(s) before reimbursement can occur.
Springboard Program
Requirements - this program was created to acquaint a new member with the opportunities
available within the Junior Chamber organization. The activities listed must be completed
within the first 12 months of membership. Upon completion of the program, a member will
have completed the third Degree in The U.S. Junior Chamber of Commerce Degrees of Jaycees
Program.
Degree of Jaycees Program
Requirements - this document identifies what chapter members must do to complete a
Degree. The Degrees of Jaycees Program is intended to recognize Jaycees on the national
level for their involvement with local chapters. Becoming a 10th Degree Jaycee is one of
the highest achievements one can receive as a local member.
